Sub: Hon’ble Governor condoles the death of General (Retd.) Sunith Rodrigues, PVSM, VSM.
Hon’ble Governor Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai was deeply saddened by the passing away of General (Retd.) Sunith Rodrigues, PVSM, VSM this morning in Goa. A son of Goa and highly decorated army officer, he contributed immensely to the strengthening of the Indian Army andtor of Chandigarh. His distinguished service to the nation can never be forgotten. was also a remarkable administrator during his tenure as Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh. His distinguished service to the nation can never be forgotten.
Hon’ble Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
