Sub : Hon’ble Governor greets Shri Damodar Maujo at his home

Hon’ble Governor of Goa Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai visited today morning the home at Majorda of Shri Damodar Mauzo winner of the 57^th Bharatiya Jnanapith Award 2022 for his outstanding contribution towards literature. Hon’ble Governor congratulated Shri Damodar Mauzo for his great achievement as he is the only second writer to bag the prestigious Jnanapith Award. Hon’ble Governor himself a writer of 135 books presented some of his books to Shri Damodar Mauzo and in exchange received some of Shri Mauzos writings. They both had a fruitful interaction. Hon’ble Leader of Opposition was also present on the occasion.
