Visit by Hon’ble Governor to Asha Mahal at Taligao in Tiswadi Taluka
As part of the programme of field visits to Charitable institutions to disburse financial aid, Hon’ble Governor with Hon’ble Minister for Revenue, Smt. Jennifer Monserrate today visited Asha Mahal at Taleigao, which is a Rehabilitation Centre for Children and Adults.
On the occasion, Hon’ble Governor distributed financial assistance to Asha Mahal Trust and also distributed financial aid to four dialysis patients in Tiswadi Taluka. Hon’ble Minister thanked Hon’ble Governor for visiting this charitable trust in her constituency at short notice and extending financial aid. Hon’ble Governor commended the activities of Ashal Mahal for showing care and concern for the children and the needy and said that he will continue with his visits to all the charitable institutions in Goa.
Shri Nitin Maganlal, Chairman of the Trust and his team of officials were present for the function.
