His Grace Dr. Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Metropolitan of Ahmedabad Diocese, His Grace Yakoob Mar Elias Metropolitan of Brahmavar Diocese, called on the Hon’ble Governor, Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai. They were in Goa for the commemoration of the 98th Memorial feast of Alvares Mar Julios, who was otherwise known as Fr. Antonio Francisco Xavier Alvares from Verna, Goa.
Hon’ble Governor recalled his memories of his association with the Orthodox Church. He expressed happiness about a Goan Priest being part of the Malankara Orthodox Church and the spiritual bond existing between Goa and Kerala for more than 100 years. He conveyed his best wishes to their Graces for the memorial Feast. H.G. Bishops complimented and blessed the Governor for the charitable works initiated recently by Raj Bhavan, Goa.
